Toyota change the operation structure in Europe

Toyota's do a global structural change, the aim for make closer to the customer. So, two European Toyota plant located in England and France, will come under control of Toyota Motore Europe (TME), is no longer the responsibility of Toyota Motor Corp.(TMC). This was conveyed by the company as reported by just-auto.

By this policy, Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile (TPCA) and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Russia (TMMR), no longer under the responsibility of the TMC, but joined with TME are beginning from April 1, led by Didier Leroy, who served as the President and CEO of TME-based Brussels.

In addition to leading the TME, Leroy responsibilities expanded to include Toyota's design studio in Sophia Antipolis, France, and Toyota Motorsport, based in Cologne and Germany, as well as Toyota's financial services unit.

TME leadership structure, Leroy assisted Hiroyuki Ochiai, who served as Executive Vice President of TMW. He got the role of overseeing all manufacturing and operations under the TME.

Then there Masahisa Nagata as executive vice president of research, development and purchasing. Its presence strengthens the position of TME as a global planning center for the small car segment, A, B, and C.
