BMW is interested to make a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), with new generation X4 from Munich. For this purpose, BMW AG spend money for about Rp. 2.7 trillion to produce in Spartanburg plant, South California, United States. This planning coincides with the 2 million celebration of BMW X-series production. The 2 millionth BMW produced out from Spartanburg plant is the
BMW X3 xDrive 35i with type of Vermillion Red Metallic.

Frank-Peter Arndt, one of the BMW directors says, principals intend to complete the X-Series family that is already on the market. "I am delighted to announce today, that in the next three years increases the total production of 350,000 units per year. This move is a reaction from the large market demand for X series products," said Arndt.
BMW have produced for about 276,065 units in the year of 2011 to supply 130 countries in the world. This distribution increased compared to year before, because 70 percent of BWM cars export to non NAFTA area. This new invest hope can lessen un-employment in South California.
